Description

Quite a rare design, this lamp was made in Germany for the US market and it has been factory wired to used in the US. The chrome plated arm has a counter-balanced heavy steel end and a cylindrical bulb housing head in which a halogen bulb is mounted.I honestly don't think the transformer could use LED bulbs. The arm allows for a r otation of 360 degrees and a vertical movement aided by a pivot joint. The heavy weighted steel body houses the transformer. The body, head and base are mat finished black. There are scuffs on the body and sometimes the bulb flickers, but this is almost to be expected with a lamp of this age. The switch is mounted on the body and has three position: low, off and high.
